Home shirt as worn by Sweden during UEFA Euro 2020, held in summer 2021 due to the pandemic. The team, led by coach Janne Andersson, delivered an impressive group stage, finishing 1st in Group E ahead of Spain, Slovakia, and Poland. The Swedes opened with a determined 0–0 draw against Spain, followed by a 1–0 win over Slovakia (goal by Emil Forsberg) and a thrilling 3–2 victory over Poland, in which Forsberg scored twice and Viktor Claesson netted a 93rd-minute winner.

Sweden reached the Round of 16, where they were eliminated 2–1 after extra time by Ukraine in Glasgow. Despite the disappointment, the team earned praise for its mix of youth and experience, defensive solidity, and attacking promise. Emil Forsberg finished with four goals, becoming Sweden’s top scorer at a major tournament since Henrik Larsson in 2004.
