Home shirt as worn by Mexico during the early stages of CONCACAF qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and throughout 2008–09 international friendlies. This shirt debuted in the second half of 2008 and was primarily used during the first two qualification rounds under coaches Sven-Göran Eriksson and Javier Aguirre, in what was a turbulent but ultimately successful journey to South Africa 2010.
